You can allow or deny specific users or groups to access the Web Interface without any influence on other services. For this purpose, you need to make corresponding settings in the Web Interface Customization tool.
To customize access to the Web Interface:
Launch the Adaxes Web Interface Configuration Tool on the computer, where the Web Interface is installed.
Windows 7 and earlier:
Windows 8 and 8.1:
Windows 10:
In Interface type drop-down list, select the type of the Web Interface you want to customize.
Select the Access Control tab.
To allow only specific users or groups to log in to the Web Interface, select the Allow specific users or groups only option. To deny access to the Web Interface for specific users or groups, select the Deny access to specific users or groups option.
In the Users edit box, specify users, who you want to allow or deny access to the Web Interface. User names can be entered in either 'user@domain.com' or 'DOMAIN\user' format (e.g. joohndoe@company.com, COMPANY\johndoe) and must be separated by commas.
In the Groups edit box, specify security groups, members of which you want to allow or deny access to the Web Interface. Group names can be entered in the 'DOMAIN\group' format only (e.g. COMPANY\Administrators) and must be separated by commas.

Click Apply.
