In the Adaxes Web Interface, lists of Active Directory objects are displayed in grids. Information on objects in a grid is divided into columns that display object names and specific properties. Users can choose, which columns to display in a grid, using the Column Chooser.
To configure, which columns are displayed in the grids by default, and which columns can be selected with the help of the Column Chooser:
Launch the Adaxes Web Interface Configuration Tool on the computer, where the Web Interface is installed.
How:Windows 7 and earlier:
- Open the Windows Start menu.
- Click All Programs > Softerra Adaxes 2017.1 > Web Interface > Web Interface Customization.
Windows 8 and 8.1:
- Open the Start screen.
- Start typing Web Interface Customization.
- Press Enter.
Windows 10:
- Open the Windows Start menu.
- Click All apps > Softerra Adaxes 2017.1 > Web Interface Customization.
In Interface type drop-down list, select the type of the Web Interface you want to customize and click the AD Browsing tab.
Click the Configure Columns button.
The Available Columns list displays the columns that can be selected by users via the Column Chooser. Configure columns visibility the way you need:
To add a column to be displayed in the Column Chooser, click the Add button below the Available Columns list, select an AD object property to be displayed in the column, and click OK. The newly added column will be added to the Available Columns list.
To remove specific columns from the Column Chooser, select the columns you need in the Available Columns list. Click the Delete button below.
To make a column visible by default, check Display by Default option for this column in the Available Columns list.
The Display by Default settings are effective for a user, until this user changes visible columns in a grid using the Column Chooser. To configure column settings for specific Web Interface components, highlight the columns, you need, in the Available Columns list. Check Customize settings for the selected columns, and then check the WI component to customize settings for. Select if you want the selected columns to be displayed by default or never displayed for this WI component.
When finished, click OK, and then click Apply.
