To customize forms for creation and editing of AD objects via the Adaxes Web Interface:
Launch the Adaxes Web Interface Configuration Tool on the computer, where the Web Interface is installed.
Windows 7 and earlier:

In Interface type drop-down list, select the type of the Web Interface you want to customize and click the AD Management tab.
Click the Customize Forms and Views button. In the Object types list on the left of the Forms and Views dialog, select the type of Active Directory objects you want to customize views and forms for.
Click the tab for the form you want to customize. The View tab allows to customize the page used to display objects, the Create tab - to create new objects, the Modify tab - to edit objects, the Rename tab - to rename objects.
In the Web Interface, all fields presented on views and forms are grouped into sections. The form sections are displayed in the Sections list. The fields of the selected section are displayed in the Section fields list below. |
In the Sections list, customize the sections to be available in this view or form:
To add new sections, click the Add button below the Sections list, specify the name and select the contents type for the new section.
To modify the section name, select the section you need and click Edit below. If you want the section to be hidden by default, until a user clicks the Specify more information link, in the Edit Section dialog, select the Show this section only after the user clicked the Specify More Properties link check box.
To remove sections from the selected view or form, select the sections you need and click Delete below.
To set the order of sections in the form, use and
buttons below the Sections list.
If necessary to customize section contents, select the section you need and make necessary modifications below.
Depending on the contents type of the selected section, you can specify, which AD property fields the sections must contain, select types of groups to be displayed, or select whether to allow adding and removing members of the displayed groups. The contents type of a section is selected when creating a section.
If you want the form or view to display the links that allow users to quickly navigate to sections, select the Display section navigation links option.
When finished, click OK.
Click Apply.
There is no need to restart IIS to apply the changes, as the changes are applied automatically. |
