Changing Group Scope and Type

To change group scope and type:

Log in to the Adaxes Web Interface.
Click the Browsing tab in the top navigational menu.
Click the domain that contains the group you need, and select this group.

Click Browse above the list of managed domains, select the container in which the group you need is located, and then click this group in the list displayed.
At the page that opens, click Edit in the header panel command menu.
In the Group Scope section, define the scope of the group: Domain Local Group, Global Group or Universal Group.
In the Group Type section, define the type of the group: Security Group or Distribution Group.
If you are not allowed to change group scope or type, the corresponding user interface controls are disabled.
Click Save.

You cannot change scope and type for groups in mixed-mode domains and for built-in groups.
