To search Active Directory:
Quick Search
Log in to the Adaxes Web Interface.
In the Quick Search field located on the right below the top navigational menu, type the name of the object you are searching for or its initial characters.
By default, Quick Search is performed on users and groups.
Click the Go button.
To modify the search criteria or to perform search in a specific location, click the Show search options link above the search results.
Simple Search
Log in to the Adaxes Web Interface.
Click the Search tab in the top navigation menu.
Make sure the Simple link is selected in the top navigation submenu.
To search in a specific location, in the Search In drop-down list, select a domain or click the Browse button to select a container to search in.
By default, the search is performed in all Managed Domains. Below the search panel, check the object types you want to search for.
In the left drop-down list, select the property by which you want to search AD objects.
In the middle drop-down list, select the relation between the property and the search value.
In the right field, enter the search value.
Click
button to add additional search value. The search results will contain the objects that correspond at least to one of the search values.
Click the Add Criteria link, to add additional search criteria. The search results will contain the objects that correspond to all search criteria.
Click the Search button.
Alphabetical Search
Log in to the Adaxes Web Interface.
Click the Search tab in the top navigation menu.
Click the Alphabetical link in the top navigation submenu.
To search in a specific location, in the Search In drop-down list, select the domain or click the Browse button to select a container to search in.
By default, the search is performed in all Managed Domains. Below the alphabetic tabs, check the object types you want to view.
In the alphabetic tabs, click the initial character of the name of AD objects you want to view.
You can select the alphabet language using the drop-down list on the right of the alphabetic tabs.
The Alphabetic Search is performed for all properties that contain an object name. For example, a user name is contained in such properties as 'First Name', 'Last Name', 'Full Name' and 'Display Name'.
To view additional information on the objects displayed in the search results, click  Select columns.
