Adaxes Web Interface Help | Show AllHide All |
Using Softerra Adaxes, you can remove Exchange-related properties of Active Directory users, contacts, and groups. This task should be used under very specific circumstances. When you remove all Exchange properties from an object in AD, the recipient can no longer send or recieve mail, and will not appear in any address lists, including the Global Address List.
If you are running Active Directory Connector or other directory synchronization tools, removing Exchange properties may adversely affect Exchange functionality. |
To remove Exchange attributes:
Log in to the Adaxes Web Interface.
Click the Browsing tab in the top navigational menu.
Click the domain that contains users, contacts, or groups, for which you want to remove Exchange-related properties, and then select their location.
-or-
Click Browse above the list of managed domains and select the container in which the objects you need are located.
In the list of AD objects, check the objects you need, click Exchange Tasks in the On Selection menu and select the Remove Exchange Attributes command.
If the Exchange Tasks submenu is not available, it means that Microsoft Exchange is not installed in the AD domain, where the selected objects are located. |
Click OK.
